The First Responder Division is dedicated to the equitable delivery of emergency services. Training law enforcement, dispatchers, fire and medical personnel to recognize characteristics and behaviors that may indicate an individual may have a disability or mental health disorder and provide response strategies to avoid escalation and de-escalate. Our goal is to help ensure career longevity and eliminate unwarranted use of force and death in culturally diverse and disabled populations. 

We are current and former law enforcement officers and disability/ mental health experts who develop and deliver high quality realistic education, training, and consultation to support operations, investigations, create policy, enhance public safety, and improve community relationships.
